Virtual MOU Signing Ceremony

The Filipino Nursing Diaspora (FiND) Network, represented by Prof. Violeta Lopez, and the Filipino Nurses Association-Nordic (FNAN) The Filipino Nursing Diaspora (FiND) Network, represented by Prof. Violeta Lopez, and the Filipino Nurses Association-Nordic (FNAN), represented by Floro Cubello, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Friday, 29 January 2021.

The MOU affirms a new partnership between the two organisations. The major thrust of this agreement is to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two organisations in the areas of advocacy, research, capacity development, and outreach.

The virtual signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. Cindy Leigh, FiND Director for Professional Development and Jerome Babate, FiND Secretariat Director, Roman Aquino, Katherine Luckmann, Cristal Tolosa Warburg, all from FNAN.

“We welcome the opportunity to strengthen our commitment with our Filipino nursing colleagues to promote their welfare in the Nordic region,” said Dr. Lopez. Prior to signing the MOU, Dr. Lopez and Mr. Cubello exchanged views on the impact of COVID-19, the Filipino nursing diaspora communities in the Nordic region.
