On behalf of the Directors of the Filipino Nursing Diaspora Network, I want to wish all our Filipino nursing colleagues a happy and safe Christmas.
This year has been a trying time for all of us and Filipino nurses around the world have shown their dedication and resilience in providing excellent nursing care to those inflicted by the pandemic. We should all salute them and wish them a safe Christmas while they continue to work selflessly.
This year, we are so blessed to have so many international and national nursing experts who served as our webinar presenters and nursing colleagues who participated in our various virtual events. We also launched our joint virtual engagement (Health COVE) project last month in collaboration with our amazing partners in the Philippines. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you.
It’s important to remember that Christmas can be a difficult time for some. Please think about those in need whether it’s visiting a neighbour or friend who may not have family around or simply wishing a total stranger 'Merry Christmas'. We all have the ability to make the Christmas season better for someone else.
I look forward to a New Year full of opportunities, expanding our programs, and creating new ones.
