The Seed of Advocacy

Our journey began with a simple observation: Filipino nurses were the backbone of healthcare systems worldwide, yet their voices remained underrepresented in policy and professional leadership. Founded by a small group of Filipino nurse leaders (Australia, Singapore, the USA, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), the Filipino Nursing Diaspora Network (FiND) was born out of a desire to bridge geographical distance through professional solidarity and a need for a global platform for Filipino nurses.

Foundation in Australia

A collective of Filipino nursing leaders gathered in an international roundtable meeting at the Australian Catholic University - North Sydney campus

2022

Global Expansion

Pandemic-era expansion with a series of webinars, followed by connecting nurses across Europe, the Middle East, Oceania and North America.

2026

Strong Global Presence

A historic milestone as we embarked on a strong digital presence, placing the Network as the top Filipino nursing group on LinkedIn. Also strengthening our presence across 17 countries.
